iis smtp nntp : How to configure postmaster address in IIS SMTP?

I am using vanilla IIS 6 SMTP on Server 2003. I am not using Active
Directory, nor am I using Exchange.

How can I configure the "from" address used in non-delivery reports? It is
currently using "postmaster@machine-name", but I'd like it to reflect the
actual external domain name of the site. All the KB articles I've seen on
this subject use AD or Exchange tools. How can I configure this in the SMTP
server itself?

Thanks

Change the domain name labeled 'Local (Default)' for your virtual server
(select it and press F2). The default is postmaster@ that domain.

[I assume said domain is not currently a Remote domain being routed off
the box.]

Sanford,

Thanks very much - worked like a charm. Don't know how I would have found
this without your help.

Cool -- it's one of the few things that doesn't require metabase editing
(though that works, too), but is just hiding in plain sight in MMC until
you try good ol' F2.
