iis smtp nntp:
Hi all!

I create a newsgroup for company customers, but this group will be moderate
by my boss. The server is running and working normally. All messages sent
was redirecting to my boss email. But, how can he moderate these messages?
There are no options to accept or reject the message.

Cheers!

You need a combination SMTP/NNTP client that allows you to redirect (not
simply forward) approved messages back to the group with the Approved:
header and possibly other header modifications, but with the original
sender (and without cut-and-paste, ideally).

AFAIK, it's actually a pretty hard bill to fill; there are several
respected, full-featured NNTP clients and an equal number of
techie-centric MUAs (such as The Bat!, which I use), but you need to have
a single app so that a message can be gatwayed easily from one protocol to
the other.

I think Forte Agent can do this, and there are plug-ins that enable News
and Redirect in Outlook (although I don't know offhand what you'd have to
do -- VBA? -- to add the Approved: header). Also look into Mahogany, tho'
I've never used it. Surely others as well.
