Hi,
I am having one Web Application in which we send mails through
remote SMTP server.
Some of the mails are not going and are stuck in the the Drop Folder
while others are going.

I can see the emails get created, but they don't get processed/moved. SMTP
service is running. Can anyone please help as to what to verify, where to
look.

Reverse DNS Lookup

There is a checkbox in the Advanced Delivery dialog that reads "Perform
reverse DNS lookup on incoming messages". What is the point of this
checkbox? I was hoping it meant that the SMTP server would reject
connections where RDNS failed. But that doesn't appear to be the case. Is

All of a sudden I can no longer send mail that goes to an address outside my
domain. The mail server in question has been running for about 2 years now
with no problems but a few days ago I started getting this error when sending

My new ISP gives me very bad email service, I cannot send anything most of
the time.
I installed the SMTP thing in win XP but now what?
Where do I dind anything to configure that and can I use that for sending my
emails?
The recieving part from my ISP works OK ( so far )

Messages stuck in the queue

I have messages stuck in the queue (C:\Inetpub\mailroot\Queue), where can I
see to whom this messages are to be delivered? (the log file doesn't gives me
the info, just the email addresses that where delivered or not)
