iis smtp nntp: Hi

We have configured a windows server 2k3 to be a smarthost for exchange, to
eventually host GFI mailessentials & security.

We have configured the SMTP Virtual Server as per:
http://support.gfi.com/manuals/en/msec10/msec10manual.1.12.html

I have tried dropping a file named document.txt into the pickup directory
with the text below in it:

From: testing@externaldomain.com
To: testing@internaldomain.com
Subject: testing

This is the test message body.


The file dissapears immediately but the email does not arrive at the local
address.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Where does it end up? Local \Drop? Local \Badmail? Each will signify
different issues.

And what do your logs say about the disposition of the message?

You need to provide far more information. Logs are your friends.
