Hello,

Is there anything weird about upgrading a SQL 7.0 Standard Edition
server to SQL 2000 Enterprise Edition? Is it the same process as
upgrading SQL 7.0 Standard to SQL 2000 Standard (which I've done on a
couple of other servers). We want EE in order to bump up the memory
beyond 2Gb.

Surely I don't have to upgrade to SQL 7.0 EE first or do a
from-scratch install of SQL 2000 EE?

Thanks,

It should be fine - according to Books Online, SQL7 Standard to SQL2000
Enteprise is supported (see "Upgrading an Existing Installation of SQL
Server").
