We are having problems trying to restore a Veritas backup to a

Hi

I have never used Veritas as a backup for SQL Server, it is usally easier to
backup to disc and then to tape as disc is so cheap nowadays. If you don't
mind doing this as a two stage process, then you can restore to the original
location and the detach the files to move them.
