Hello -

I have a fairly deep understanding of Oracle architecture and features
for implementing quality data warehouse applications. I have some
experience using SQLServer.

Can someone recommend one or more books on SQL Server that discuss how
to effectively exploit its features to implement a quality data
warehouse application? This would hopefully include such things as
loading and processing bulk data, physical modeling to handle large
amounts of data (e.g., partitioning, indexing, parallelism, etc.) and
supporting complex queries, and moving aggregate data to OLAP
services.

Thanks,

Parts 5 and 6 of the SQL Server Resource Kit cover these topics, although I
would say that they're probably more useful as an introduction, rather than
an in-depth extended guide. But it should give you some useful pointers, at
least. You might also find the section on migrating Oracle to MSSQL
interesting, if you're looking for information on how Oracle features map to
MSSQL ones.
