Hi Steve !

Don=B4t know what you really mean by that, but if you want to start that
automatically, just set the service to start automatically.

Hi .

MSSQL Service Manager has a few servers available, how do I force a default
server to launch at startup?

Thank you

Hi Jens,

I know that there is an "Auto-Start " option but that does not launch the
server I need. It defaults to another server.

You mean that you want to the service manager to display status for a
certain server when it starts up?

There is a Default key in
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Microsoft SQL Server\80\Tools\Service
Manager
You could try playing with that one.

By the way, the Service Manager is gone in SQL 2005.
