Hey guys - I need your help. We are using SQL Server 2000- do you
think, we should upgrade to some later release of Microsoft SQL
Servier or Migrate to Oracle, IBM or Sybase. I am also wondering,
what do you think of Open Source MySQL and PostgreSQL. Have anyone of
you using these databases. Thanks guys for your help

Upgrading to SQL 2005 may be a good idea, but without knowing anything
about your system, it's difficult to say whether the investment would pay

Unless your application is really written with portability in mind,
migrating to a new platform can be very expensive.
