sql server (microsoft) : Installing SQL Server 2005 - Where is the Enterprise Manager?

I have just installed (hopefully) SQL 2005 Professional, as part of the
Visual Studio Professional setup. I already had SQL Server 2000, and SQL
Server espress, installed as part of Visual Web Developer. I chose a full
installation ( so that I would get the sample databases, etc...).
I chose the Default instance. (it was the default choice, but was it trying
to upgrade SQL Express?)

Everything completed without any errors.

However, I can not find the 2005 equivalent of EnterpriseManager. In
startup, when I go to the list of programs, in the Microsoft Server 2005
folder tree, all I have is Configuration Tools.

I must have messed up somewhere. If I click SQL Server Configuration
Manager, I see the SQL Server 2005 Services (on the left) and then on the
right hand pannel, SQL Server is listed as (SQLExpress Running
Automatic...)

How do I get the 2005 version of Enterprise Manager to show up, please?

TIA,

Paolo

Visual Studio Professional includes only SQL Server Express (and
Express doesn't include any configuration tools equivalent to
Enterprise Manager)...

I resolved the problem, I was trying too many shortcuts, should have used a
named instance. Visual Studio 2005 Professional includes SQL Server
Developer Edition.

Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah,

Paolo
