I am running windows xp pro on my home computer and would like to test an
database driven ASP .NET web application. I need to be able to create an SQL
database which will be assessed by the web application. I already have a
local IIS Server up and running.

At work, I use SQL Enterprise Manager. I wanted to download it on my home
computer but cannot find it anywhere on the net.

How can I test my web applications at home on a person computer?

Thanks.
Jess

You first need a SQL Server version, don=B4t know if you already
installed one, but as you just mentioned that you want to install SQL
EM, you have to keep in mind that this is just a client application, no
server service is included in here.

So you either chosse the MSDE which can be maintained with the tools
provided here: http://www.aspfaq.com/2442

Or you use SQL Server Express which is the new version of the small
sized database and can be downloaded from here (also the client tools):
http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/express/sql/download/
