Server = NT 4.0 sp 6 and SQL Server 7.0 sp 4 with hotfix
031.

Background: Our company is very large and is going through
a domain shift to AD.
A = new ID
B = old ID
X = old domain
Y = new domain

( BX )Old id, old domain was original setup and worked
fine.
User then was switched to new id on the old domain (
XA ). This was still okay for the user to do what they
needed to do within SQL Server.
The users workstation was then switched to ( YA ), new ID
and new domain. At this point, the user started getting
the "Error 3704: User does not have permission to perform
this operation on procedure 'xxx.xxxxx'

The user is logging into their workstation with their (
XA ) account (old domain, new id) because of the settings
they have on .Net and their inability to move the settings
of .Net to the new profile on their workstation. SQL
Server 7.0 no longer "sees" the ( XA ) account in the
domain. Is there any solution to this issue that I am not

should mention something more:
SQL server no longer sees the XA account nor does it see
the YA account. the BX account is definitely gone from
the domain. Y and X are trusted between one another.
