sql server clients : Time out connecting.

Hello, I have an Access application that connects to a SQL Server 2000
database. Lately, when first opening the application it takes awhile to
connect. Also, the first time you open Enterprise Manager it times out when
you click on the database, Usually I just press F5 and it connects. The
network of the client was recently converted from Windows NT to Windows
2000. Any suggestions where too look for clearing up this issue?

Sounds like you're experiencing a high amount of network latency. You
should check that your network connectivity, specifically that you're DNS is
resolving traffic properly.
