This is not a SQL Server message. I know next to nothing about Terminal
Services, but my guess is the Terminal Server itself has a limit on the
umber of connections.

We have several remote users connecting through Terminal Services getting
following error:

System Message 6024:

Error opening data base with specified SqlServer: <ServerName>. Possibly the
server's limit on workstation connections has been exceeded.

In Enterprise Manager the maximum connections is set to unlimited.

Any Ideas?

Terminal services maintains a virtual profile and you are
limited to one unique login per terminal session. You get
this alot if people simply close out of terminal services
instead of properly log out. You can find the connection
in computer manager and delete it (or of course, reboot
the server)
