varchar(8000) or nvarchar(4000) are good character string choices. I doubt
you are going to have a email address or hyperlink that won't fit in that.

Can anybody help a beginner?
I want to store URLs and email address's hyperlinlinked in the db. So that
when I do a SELECT statement in ASP the results come out hyperlinked in my

Thanking you in anticipation
