duplicates

I have many occurances of two rows that have the same ID.
How to select just one of each?
I can copy into a temp table, and add an identifier of some kind.
But I don't know what to use for an identifier.

Thanks,
Brad.

We recently moved our main application from a work group environment, to a

What are the trade offs in having our users becoming part of our new domain
or to remain in their work group and access SQL Server through Server

Hope to hear from you soon

We came across a very strange problem recently. The same query of calculating
median when run within a stored procedure, produces different (wrong)
results, when it is run outside of a stored procedure, and that the results
can be different every time the procedure is run.
