How can I change SQL Server 2005 port?

Go to SQL Server Configuration Manager and change your TCP\IP settings from
"SQL Server 2005 Network Configuration".

Hi,

Follow these steps:

Start
All Programs
Microsoft SQL Server 2005
Configuration Tools
SQL Server Configuration Manager
In the tree on the left expand the SQL Server 2005 Network Configuration
node
Click on Protocols for ... (your instance name)
In the details pane double-click on TCP/IP
In the property pages that appear click on the IP Addresses tab
Change your ports accordingly.
