If tempdb is always recreated (from model) on failover,
what reason is there to put it on a clustered drive? If it
is put on a drive (letter) that exists on all nodes (e.g.,

What are the steps necessary to set up replication for servers across
domains where there is a trust relationship? How does one server see the

SQL1 has three network cards, local is addressed
10.0.0.20 storage is addressed 172.16.0.1 in a seperate
hub/switch and heartbeat at 192.168.0.1 in another

I have 2 windows 2000 servers in a cluster environment .I
am seeing messages every 5 mins saying another node is
unavailable .After 3 or 4 mins the node is available
again .I have checked cables , switch etc looks fine .
