Where can I find a complete step-by-step article on
installing SQL 2000 Enterprise Edt. in a Windows 2003
Enterprise Edt.Cluster?

We have purchased 2 Dell 6550 servers and a EMC CX300
fiber channel array. Dell is going to setup the cluster
but I have to install the SQL 2000 server software.

Any help would be appreciated??

Hi

http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/sql/2000/maintain/failclus.mspx

Appendix B has a Step-By-Step guide.

TechNet Support WebCast: How to install a Microsoft SQL Server 2000 virtual
server on a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 cluster
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;888121

Make sure and read:
SQL Server 2000 Cluster Does Not Install on Windows Server 2003-Based
Computers Where Terminal Services Is Installed
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;301520

PRB: Virtual SQL Server 2000 Installation Fails on Cluster That Has Eight
Nodes

PRB: Installation of a named instance of SQL Server 2000 virtual server on a
Windows 2003-based cluster fails
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;815431

The three articles cover most of the gotchas. The cluster itself is much
easier to install under 2003. SQL 2000 is about the same.
