I'm designing a 3 node cluster that will be running SQL Server and Exchange
in an Active/Active/Passive configuration. The cluster will be using a small
SAN for storage (HP MSA 1000). The first active node will run SQL. The 2nd

Win2003 SQL2000 Active/Active
On node1 SQL service shuts down and immediately restarts. In the cluster log
on node1 we found the following below at exact time of service stop/start.

We have a client that wants to implement a SAN to be shared by other
servers.
How do you setup a SQL server to use the SAN array? The client only has one
SQL server (node).

As far as I know, clustering is used to increase availability of SQL Server.
Is it possible to benefit from clustering for performance (load balancing

server. What are the steps to applying service pack 3a?
I have read KB 330022 and KB811168 and neither one give detailed steps to

Hangs on Applying Computer Settings

I have 2 nodes Cluster Active/Passive on Windows 2003. When I reboot either
one, it comes fast no problem but when I logon to the node it takes 15
minutes waiting on "Applying Computer Settings" message then it will show
the desktop.

Is it possible to have a node that is running one default and one named
instance of SQL Server 2000, A second node that's running a default instance
of sql server 2000 and have both failover to a third node? Any thoughts,

We have a clustered SQL Server 2000 sp3. There are two nodes, and only one
database (20GB). We back up the db's transaction log periodically throughout
the day, and truncate the log with a full backup every night.
We can back up the transaction log to disk on another server without
