I have a w2k3 cluster w/ SQL 2k failover cluster. Problem: when I fail the cluster to the other node, I can access the SQL name but not the IP Addr. I need it to work so I can rebuild the primary node. Thanks! ...more >>

Hi, i have to node cluster on w2k3 when i check the servername parameter i see the virtual server name but i want to see the real address on dns name for each machine . is that possible ? i want to write a store procedure to help see on which machine the sql is currently runing . ...more >>

Hi, While installing SQL Server on the primary node, it needs an IP address for Virtual SQL Server. Should I enter the IP address of the primary node machine in the network or something else? What's the advantage of adding more than one IP in this screen? Any help would be greatly appreciated. ...more >>
