sql server clustering: I recently upgraded our server to a 2 node cluster. We
installed MS SQL server, and created the virtual server
necessary for the cluster failover to work. I noticed
today that I can not use SQL Enterprise manager from
Node1. It does not see the instance of SQL Server. Under
Server Groups it says "no items found". Node2 has control
of it. However, in cluster administrator, it says that
node1 has control of SQL Server. Im willing to read and
learn how to fix the problem, but Im not sure where to

Fixable. Unregister your virtual server in Enterprise Mangler and
re-register it using the full name (InstanceName\VirtualName). Remove any
aliases left over from installation in the Client Network Utility.
