sql server clustering : Problem adding "Physical Disk" Resources to Groups

We have a Windows 2003 EE Cluster Node [QAT2] that has an
attached NAS device via iSCSI for disk storage.
Previously, we had two large NAS partitions, drives K:
[DATA] and L: [LOG]. Then we decided that we wanted to
have 3 Virtual Servers, so we split up the partitions into
6 drives [3 DATA and 3 LOG, K:, L:, M:, N:, O:, P:].
Windows Explorer sees all 6 drives fine, as does the Disk
Management utility. But within Cluster Administrator, only
the original K: and L: "Physical Disk" resources exist in
the Cluster Group. When I try to add the additional
"Physical Disk" resources in a new Cluster Group, when the
wizard gets to selecting the Disk, the list is empty, but I
would expect to see the additional M:, N:, O: and P:
drives. What must I do to be able to add the new drives?
Do I need to remove and re-add the old K: and L: drives?

Hi Michael,

please have a look at the article below:
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/treeview/default.asp?url=/technet/prodtechnol/winntas/support/mscstswp.asp
Keep in mind that a physical disk isn´t the same like a partition. If you
use partitions then you need to create partitions first of all on the Raid
Controller.
