Hi All,

I'm facing a problem reinstalling SQL2000 on windows 2003
cluster.
As I'm trying to do migration, I did a test installation
with a default name. Then, I wanted to change my instance
for production purpose. For some reasons, I could not
uninstall from the SQL installation CD, thus I use the
manual way (remove registy entries). Now installation says
its successful, but I not see any MS SQl instance. (I
could only see a setup.iss under the MSSQL folder, nothing
else)

Hi,

If high availbility is you goal - reinstall the cluster!

otherwise: Verify that everything was deleted from the
cluster hive on all nodes.
