Hey folks..

I have a SQL 7.0 sp3 Cluster (A\P) on NT 4.0 sp6a. We are running into an
issue where we will get the following errors and then SQL Server will stop
and restart automatically. The error is as follows:

Error: 17801, Severity: 17, State: 1
2004-03-08 11:56:13.96 ods Unknown internal error value..

We got about 23 of these in about half a minute and then got this one:

Error: 17826, Severity: 18, State: 2
2004-03-08 11:56:37.53 ods Could not set up ListenOn connection
'\\.\pipe\sql\query'..
Operating system error 1450., Insufficient system resources exist to
complete the requested service.

We then got another 40 or so of the 17801 error and then one of these:

Error: 17826, Severity: 18, State: 2
2004-03-08 12:00:01.69 ods Could not set up ListenOn connection
'1433'..
Operating system error 10055.,

SQL Server then restarted and all seems well.. Any ideas as to what could
be causing this?

Peace,
Gary Hampson

The article states that it has been fixed in SP1.. We are on SP3.. Also,
at the times in question, there were no traces running on the server.

Peace,
Gary
