I have a problem with linking two servers.
I have created a login called "linked" and set full permissions to the
pubs-database on booth servers.
When I first create the linked server and linked server login on server1

I had a sql 2000 cluster with 2 node active\active and
I would like to rename my sql default name to another
name but MS recommend to uninstall and reinstall sql
If I uninstall just the default name.Will it create
any impact on my second instant name? Have any one done

Administrator or Domain Admins groups. Is this also troug for SQL

I've got a big probem, my service accounts for the cluster and sql are losing there password from time to time. So I can't move the cluster resource. All servers are W23, 2 AD Controllers, 2 Cluster Nodes.

You would think this would be relatively staight forward as they are
both Microsoft products.
Now the issue is that when trying to run the sql 2000 setup the

and SQL 7 clustering wizard tells me that there is no cluster. There is, but
its only a single node. Everything else is in order re disks, resource
groups, services, etc.

My cu has the Win2003 Cluster 4 nodes with 1 Default and 3 Named instances
SQL 2000, each instance is on different node, we noticed that every
instances have configured with TCP port 1433.
