I have an existing, two-node Windows 2003 cluster running four instances of SQL Server 2000, SP3a. I have two additional nodes that I now want to merge into the cluster. We moved a large database & application from a single server with RAID drives to a clustered server with a SAN and are not seeing any performance gains. Statistics were updated, procs recompiled, etc. after the move. The CPU load is lower (as seen in perfmon), and the SAN disks are also not wo...more >>

Is this normal / expected or has it not applied SP3 to the other node correctly? e.g Running on node 1 select @@ve...more >>

Hello all... Win2k3 enterprise SQL 2000 2 nodes I had 2 instances of SQL installed. I had to run setup to remove clustered SQL so I could break the disk array and make it larger. Now, I install instance 1 on node 1 just fine. But when I run setup on node 2 to install instance 2, it tells...more >>

I have setup a production sql server cluster, as ususall I setup MSCS first and do the failover test. I use dual fiber channel card for redundancy, but I meet prob: Broke one fiber connect.
