Using SQL Mail in a cluster -- sql server clustering

Hi

It is not fully supported, but works in most cases.

From my experience, aleerts and job failures work OK, but DTS packages
sending mail do not.

Have a look at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/298723/EN-US/ and look up the
topics in BOL that it mentions.

We installed the Outlook Client on both nodes of our W2K3 cluster SQL2000
cluster and it is working.
