Hi GEOFF,
Thanks for your post. I already went through all these KB articles.
Infact i followed Uttam's presentation and transcript for the setup along
with all other KB articles.
I am not able to decipher the exitcodes.

You asked about the TEMP and TMP. AS per the system variables TEMP and TMP
point to C:\WINDOWS\TEMP
I can provide if you need any more info.
Thanks
Anand

Have you read this KB Article and tried the fix?

PRB: Installation of a named instance of SQL Server 2000 virtual server on a
Windows 2003-based cluster fails
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;815431

Also, check the location of the TEMP and TMP environment variables on all
nodes and make sure they point to valid file system locations.

Try copying the source CD to a local disk on one of the nodes. It looks
like it cannot find an installation file or location.

Also, read the local installation log file (same location) on each target
node to see if they have any meaningful information.

exit code 51

net helpmsg 51

Windows cannot find the network path. Verify that the network path is
correct and the destination computer is not busy or turned off. If Windows
still cannot find the network path, contact your network administrator.

A network share is always involved in a cluster install, that is how you can
put the disk on one machine and get the binaries on all the nodes :)
