Service Acct not Storing Pwd After Reboot

The sql server service doesn't start b/c it appears the password isn't
being stored after the node reboots. I've gone into Enterprise Mgr to
retype the domain acct and pwd and save... I've also retyped the pwd
from Manage/Services. It stores it up until the node is rebooted. Then
the pwd is ... more >>
Majority Node Set ?
Posted by Simone Harris at 5/25/2005 12:00:00 AM
Hello All
Has anyone created a clustered sql2000 instance on windows 2003 in different
geographical areas? I gather this can be done, but there is no shared
storage as such. I believe one has to replicate data another way.
I am looking for some docs on this before I dive in!
Thanks

hi there.
I've got a bit of a problem on a clustered sql server. I don't know
if the cluster has anything to do with it, this is an entirely new
configuration for our company. We've moved out of the days of using
"white-box" pcs for servers to two dl380s clustered with an msa 1000

Clustering with NAS
Posted by Pete Waters at 5/23/2005 12:00:00 AM
Has anyone clustered SQL server 2000 using a NAS server (eg. Dell PowerVault
745N) as the shared storage? I know that SAN is recommended but costs are
vastly higher. Any reasons as to why it shouldn't be done would be helpful.
thanks - pete.
