sql server clustering : How to get a hotfix?

Serge Shakhov
6/30/2005 9:06:01 PM
When I try to add a node to SQL Server cluster the installation progarm exits
without any messages. I think this problem was described in KB273769.

I requested hotfix for this problem from Russian PSS but they told me
(referring to european PSS centre) that hotfix in no longer available and it
is included in SP1.

The decribed problem applies to installation program while service packs
patches only runtime code of SQL server. So SP can't solve this problem. Now
I have SP3a and of course problem still exists...

How can I obtain this hotfix?

Can you cut and paste the sqlstp.log file to get an idea of the issue?
