Rod (and Russ) in NYC. In my eleven years of IT, I have attended 8 or so

I've installed sql server 2005active/passive cluster on Win 2003 Ent Edition
boxes connected to 3 SAN drives L, M, S.
When setup asked me where to install datafiles i choose the S drive.
SP1 installed, everything looks good, failover succesfully both ways.

I have two SQL 2000 Virtual Servers running on a windows 2003 cluster. They
each have a data and a logs drive configured (located on a shared SAN).
The Windows virtual servers can see both drives just fine. But in SQL when I
try to changle the location of the Logs directory I am only offered ... more >>

So per MS "Run the SP1 executable package file from the node (active node)
that owns the group containing the virtual server that you plan to upgrade."
What does this mean? We have an active passive cluster with the following
names;

I have an Active/Passive SQL 2000 Cluster - the OS is W3K Server.

We have two sql cluster nodes that works fine till lastweek. i can still move
the cluster goup manualy from the one node to the other. the problem is i
can't move the sqlgroup manualy to the other node. When i do that the sql
