sql server clustering : Event ID 17113 after reinstallation of cluster node

Hi there,

got a serious problem with my 2 node cluster running sql server 2005:

After node 2 crashed, I had to reinstall it.

Configuration same as before, then I used the Change option in "Add or
Remove Software" to reinstall sql server 2005 on it.

But now, the SQL Server Service doesn't come up. Possible reason:
Event ID 17113
Error 3:(The System cannot find the path specified)
This happens when SQL tries to open the master.mdf on my shared array no. 2

Did I went the wrong way reinstalling SQL? Somebody has a clue how to solve
the problem?

Regards,
Thomas

Are you sure your clustered disk resources map to the same letters on the
new node? It sounds like there may be a cluster-level problem, not a
SQL-level issue. Try moving the SQL resource group to the new node and
bring only the disk resources online.
