Hello,
I Have some questions as regards the cluster of the SQL Server
active/active.
- Which I calculate of memory for the environment to it?
- The two virtual nodes will access to same data base?
- The two nodes will be accessing the same storage shared?

vorrei realizzare un cluster usando server IBM (Xseries) per un'applicazione
che girà su DB SQL Server.
L'attuale dimensione del DB è di circa 2 GB con 40 utenti connessi ma si
prevede un incremento a circa 60/80 utenti.

I had an odd issue which I still have not figured out. We sadly had
Automatic Updates for Windows turned on and 3 updates were installed at 3:00
AM on both of our SQL2005 cluster members:

hi,
we have a 2-node cluster of sql2k EE 32bit running on w2k3 R2 x64 EE
sp1. so far so good.
it's running apparently fine and also the database works without
troubles. officially this seems to be a supported configuration and we

cluster system which has not been used in long time and install SQL 2005
instead.

hit web site. We have a UNIX guy looking after the web servers and it
is my job to sort out the SQL side.
The ratio of reads to writes in the database will probably be 75:25.
