asp.net announcements : IIS SMTP service question

Here

I recently wrote an ASP.NET application that utilizes the IIS SMTP service
to send emails. It works great except for the fact that all emails sent
from the application are stored in the inetpub\mailroot\queue folder even
though they reach their destination just fine. Whenever the server is
restarted all the emails "trapped" in the queue are sent again thus causing
people to get old emails again. Is there something I'm overlooking???

I don't know the answer to your question, but you have posted it to the
wrong group. Your question is not an "announcement".

You should post your question to an IIS, or windows server newsgroup.

Hi,

as was said, please post to the correct forum.

Anyway, you could try reading this SMTP FAQ, if it would give you the
information you were looking for.
