asp.net announcements : Anyone know of a good travel journal application?

I am looking for something that I can make entries offline (along with
inserted photo's) and when I find internet access I can upload any entries I
may have made since last time I uploaded.

Features I am looking for:

The website has a calendar control that shows highlighted, clickable dates
for days that have journal entries

Has a gallery of some kind - photo's will show in appropriate journal
entries, but I would also like a gallery for all images that are in the
journal.

Does anyone know of a program like this? I can not find anything through
internet searches, there are online journals out there, but none that have
offline entries. I want to travel with my laptop and be able to make
entries on it during times when internet access could be days or weeks away.

I am thinking I am going to have to create the application myself, anyone
have ideas for implementation?

Sounds a bit like Sharepoint I think. Photo Gallery, offline access, meeting
calendar. Probably could be adapted to your needs, I've only started using
Sharepoint so I can't guarantee it'll do everything you're looking for.
