I have an idea for a new concept similar to the pixel approach. What I
hope to develop is an advertising website where the spaces that are sold
is a series of hexagons. When the cursor is moved over the grid the
number of the hexagon is indicated which they can then select to
purchase. There will be a template on the website that they can use to
design graphics for the hexagon shape. An additional feature would be
the possibility that each hexagon could be subdivided into three
sections. The functionality of the site in the other regards would be
similar to the million dollar homepage site.

Two thoughts :

1. Beekeepers might go for it.

2. Don't quit your day job.

This is actually quite possible to do -- now -- using the Microsoft
Expression Suite applications such as Graphic Designer and Interative
Designer [1] both of which generate XAML which your classes will use to
conduct game play. There's also support at groups such as
news://microsoft.public.expression.graphicdesigner and
news://microsoft.public.interactivedesigner
